Candy Slain

This one ended up finally being a DNF for me.

The book is cute, and the characters are quirky. It has all the ingredients that you want for a wonderful, holiday-themed cozy mystery.

Personally, there was something in the dialogue and the writing that didn't work for me. It was a touch over-the-top for my personal tastes.

However, I can absolutely see how people would love this book and the series around it!
