I got this book when it was being offered as a freebie. I'll admit that it's been sitting on my Kindle for over a year. Last year, I loaded it up at the end of the Christmas season to read it, and I just never got around to it. I think I kind of got out of the Christmas spirit, or something, and moved on.

I decided to read it this year.

This is a fairly quick read. It's also a very light read. If you're looking for something to read that won't tax you too much, this might be just what the doctor ordered. If you're wanting something that classifies as mind-blowing literature, however, you might want to go somewhere else.

This book is pretty much what it is advertised to be. It's a romance. It's completely predictable, simple, saccharine, and everything else that you expect from a romance. If you're looking for a romance, this is perfect. If you're not, don't stop here.

This book was not, though, heavy on the Christmas. For me, that's a disappointment. I love Christmas books to simply relish the holiday spirit. This book sort of includes a few Christmas-themed moments here and there, but otherwise could just be any "cold weather" time of year.

All in all, this book is exactly what it claims to be (with a little less Christmas, maybe, than someone like me might want).

If you're interested in reading it, I'm including the link below, but I don't receive any of the sales of this book.
