I feel like, with each new book that I read in this series, Kinsey Millhone becomes more of a personal friend of mine. I'm actually listening to a different audiobook right now (review to follow, of course, when I've finished the book) and, though I'm enjoying the book, I do find myself thinking about the next book in the alphabet series.
I feel like I can talk about the things that are referenced in the synopsis without really considering it too much of a spoiler, so I'll say that this one definitely hit "close to home" for our protagonist in a way that others in the series have not. I know, of course, some obvious "truths" about future books in the series, just by using common sense, but this one did leave me with a few questions about some aspects of Kinsey's life in the books that I have yet to read.
As always (at least thus far), I always recommend these books to anyone who likes mysteries. I'm loving them! Part of me is sad that I waited so long to read them. The other part of me is pleased because I'm getting to experience them all for the first time now!
I'm including the link, in case you want to check the book out, but I get no proceeds from the sales.
