This book was just OK. I wanted a lot more from it than I got.

The beginning of the book was good, actually, and the premise wasn't terrible. I think that some of the writing left something to be desired, especially as the story progressed.

There was a section in the middle where, really, I felt like the fight between Voyager and the alien species was a bit drawn out. There was a lot, really, that felt drawn out in the middle of this book. It could have been much better if it had just been a novella, without all the filler that seemed added just to make it longer.

The idea was solid and interesting. I liked the species that Voyager wanted to help. I liked the idea behind their "problem." I think my biggest issue with this book was, as I said, the fact that it was just too drawn out. There were definitely pieces of the middle that I skimmed.

I'm including the link for anyone who might be interested. I receive nothing from the sales of the book.
