I've had this book on my shelf since this summer (nearly a year). I bought it at a Book Warehouse, and it was, essentially, an impulse purchase because I'd seen people mention the television show in different situations. I didn't really want to get into the show at this time, but I love books, so I figured that I'd give it a try.
I did give it a try. I gave it three tries. Each time, I picked it up, started to read, covered some ground, and then found myself so bored by the book that I put it down. The first two times, I decided that it was probably that I was simply trying to read the book at the wrong time. I needed to wait until I was in the right place mentally/emotionally/etc., and then I would love it.
After the third time, this became an official DNF book for me.
I can see how other people might like it, especially with a certain sense of humor (which I might normally suggest matches my sense of humor), but I just found it boring after about fifty pages.
I'm including the link here, in case you might want to try it for yourself. I receive nothing from the sales of this book.
