I got a free copy of this book from Netgalley. I actually picked up both the book and the audiobook, so that I could listen and read at the same time (which I sometimes enjoy doing). I enjoyed both versions of the book.

I've been listening to the alphabet books for a while, so I was really attached to the voice of that narrator. As a result, I had a moment, when I started this book, where I thought that I didn't like the narrator. However, it didn't take me too long to realize that my imagined dislike of the narrator was actually only my need to adjust to the fact that I was listening to someone new tell me the story. Once I realized that, and adjusted to the new voice and manner of storytelling, I realized that I really did like the narrator and her delivery of the story.

As for the story itself, I loved it. Sometimes (all the time) I can be very picky when it comes to romances. As a result, I often DNF romances before I ever finish them. I usually find them to simply be too much. I don't even always know how to explain what "too much" means, I just know it when I feel it. That being said, it's been a while since I read a romance that wasn't cheesy and too much. This one, however, was perfect. There was just enough tension there to make me want to keep listening, and it was very sweet while not being overly saccharine. There were so many little storylines and pieces that tied together in this story, that it was never boring. I genuinely enjoyed this story a great deal, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes rom coms and romances.

I'm including the link, as I always do. I do not receive any money from the sales of this book.
