I used to really love Dean Koontz, and I still love a few of his books that will forever be favorites, but I'm doing a re-read of books on my shelves, and I'm starting to wonder what I was thinking. I'm finding that I'm not really enjoying the re-reads at all (beyond the one or two favorites).
This book was interesting until about 100 pages in. At that point, I had already figured out, roughly, what was going on (and my thoughts were confirmed when I read some spoilers). I have to admit that I decided, not long after that, to DNF the book. I simply didn't feel the drive to finish it.
I can see how other people might love the book (and I must have really enjoyed it at some point), but it's just not working for me anymore.
I'm including the link for anyone who is interested, but I receive nothing from the sales of this book.
