I love the mysteries by Kathleen Suzette, and I decided to start exploring some of her books/series that I hadn't read before.
This is the first book in the series, and I definitely enjoyed it. I am going to put reading the series on my "to do" list, and I'm going to finish a few of the culinary cozy series that I'm reading by her, but I'll come back to this one.
This has the same cozy qualities that I expect from the other books, but it's not a culinary-based or holiday-themed cozy. I don't think I'm giving away any kind of spoiler to say that this one feels like it will keep the small town charm, but the focus will be more on fixing-up a home instead of cooking up something tasty.
I recommend this one, and I will be reading the others in the series. I also recommend, though, her culinary and holiday-themed cozies for anyone who likes those!
