These books are super cute!
I started listening to some of these last year, when I learned that my library had several available on audiobook. I know they're marked appropriate for 8-12 years, but I still think they're a lot of fun. They're good, light reads, and I enjoy listening to them while I get ready for work in the mornings or go about household chores.
If I had children (which I don't), I would definitely get them these books (and others by this author). I do recommend them to my students, even though my students are technically too "old" for them. For some of my students, their reading levels are more suited to these books than to some of the higher-grade choices they have for their self-selected reading. For other students, I recommend them because they are easy, positive reads that help with moods and, honestly, are sometimes just enjoyable.
I'm certain that, if these had been around when I was younger, I would have wanted the whole collection. I'm definitely working my way through the author's library, now, simply because I enjoy them.
I'd recommend these if you have kids or just enjoy light reads like this. I'm attaching the link to this book, but I am not getting paid for it.
