I didn't really know what to expect from this book, since I've only read the first in the series.
This was a very cute little continuation of the adventures of this family, and I enjoyed it. I think that the first book was the best, but I'm willing to admit that my nostalgia may have something to do with that. I think that, as I adjust to what the other adventures look like, I will find them all to be equally as cute and fun.
I definitely would have liked these as a child. I think they'd be a lot of fun for young readers who like a little adventure and, particularly, the idea of being independent from adults. They have mystery elements, too, so they'd be good for young readers who enjoy mysteries.
