I had this book on my "want to read" list for a long time. I love Alice in Wonderland, so I keep thinking that I'll love all these adaptations of the story. My library had this one and, while looking for another book, I stumbled across it and remembered that I wanted to read it.

This book is not bad, and I am sure that someone a little younger than me would enjoy it more than I did (it is a young adult book, I think, but I do usually enjoy those). I just couldn't really get into the story. It's an interesting premise, but some of the characterizations were, for me, so far-fetched that they pulled me out of the story entirely. It felt, in some ways, like using Alice in Wonderland to sell this story that wasn't really all that related.

At any rate, I am sure that this could be some people's favorite book and, lucky for them, it's the start of a series. However, it didn't work for me. I don't believe I'll be finishing the series.

I am including the link for anyone who wants to check it out. I do not receive anything from the sales of this book.
