I have had this book forever. I remember a friend reading it around twenty years ago. Back then, it was a new release, and she picked it up for a light little read. She told me, then, that it was a very enjoyable book. I meant to read it then, but I never got around to it.

Fast forward to when I first got my kindle, and I started collecting books for my kindle at rock bottom prices. Many of those started going into a virtual TBR pile, and I simply haven't gotten around to all of them. In fact, I doubt that I'll ever live long enough to get around to all of them.

Recently, though, as I was selecting a book from the pile to read, I came back across this one, and I remembered that I had always meant to give the book a chance. Now, I realize that it's part of a whole series (and I picked up several others from the series, recently, at a book sale).

I decided to finally read this one, and I'm super glad that I gave it a chance. This book was delightful! It's a very light read, and I like that the mysteries are interesting, but they aren't too heavy. The whole book is really light and cozy, and I love the ambiance of it! The characters are fun and memorable, too.

I highly recommend this book, and I will be reading others from the series in the future!
