The Queen's Poisoner (Kingfountain Book 1)

I listened to the audiobook of this with Kindle Unlimited, and I really enjoyed it.

I got here because I kept seeing Muirwood and mentions of Muirwood. There was something about that word/name that really caught my attention. I have no idea what it is, I just thought it sounded like something I might like.

I also knew that it was fantasy, and I do enjoy a good fantasy book.

When I looked it up, however, to find out where to start, I realized that there's a long list of books in this collection of series, which are all at least somewhat tied together. The author actually has a section on his website where he instructs people on the way that he feels is best for everyone to read his books. I've decided to follow his instructions.

I really enjoyed this book. It was an introduction to the characters and the world, from what I can tell, and I am excited about knowing what happens to the characters and having the opportunity to delve even deeper into the world.

I've already gotten the next book from Kindle Unlimited, so I have a lot of hope for this series (and all the others that are connected to it).
