I won a free copy of this book in a giveaway, but that does not influence my review.
I used to be a very big fan of Jennifer Weiner. I am using the past tense, not because there was any reason that I stopped liking her books but, rather, because I simply stopped reading her books. I went through a stage in life where I wasn't reading much for pleasure and, when I got back to the hobby, I just didn't make my way back to her books (for no particular reason at all).
That being said, I was very pleased to read this book and renew my relationship with her books.
I enjoyed this book, but I would have to say that it's very involved. You have to pay special attention to all the relationships between all the characters, and there are definitely a lot of things to pay attention to as you go. I think this book is also very modern, so it might not appeal to someone who prefers books that aren't quite so up-to-date.
Overall, I would recommend this book as a quick, easy, beach read-type book. You'll especially love it if you like stories about complicated family dynamics and working out those kinds of issues.
I'm including the link to order, in case you're interested, but I receive nothing from the sales of the book.
