I really loved this book! There was so much here that reminded me of family stories, and this was so beautifully written, that I really felt like I was part of the story. It was so easy to really connect with the characters. I'll definitely be reading more in this series.
In this book, I loved the descriptions of the homeplace that were given. They reminded me of places of my childhood. I loved the voices of the characters. I could hear them, and I felt like I knew them. They reminded me of family that has, for the most part, passed on.
This book was very oddly nostalgic for me. It was the feeling of being "at home" in a place where I've never been. I will be reading the others, though I'll spread them out so as to not risk getting too burned out on them.
I'm including the link to the book. I receive nothing from the sales.
