When I first heard about this book, I was excited to read it. I had high expectations for it. Expectations, really, that it simply wasn't going to meet.
This is an example of one of those books, I think, that really works for some readers, but really doesn't work for others. Unfortunately, I'm one of the ones that just didn't enjoy this book.
I picked this book up and put it down several times. I finally ended up DNFing it after the "plot twist/reveal" because I had already suspected it and found it, honestly, entirely anticlimactic. Overall, I found the entire book dull. I decided not to waste any more of my time with it.
I do know, though, that some people very much enjoy it, so it may be the right book for some, it just wasn't the right book for me.
